Puppets in the Green Mountains

The Puppets in the Green Mountains Festival is an international puppet festival held every other year, here in Southern Vermont. Produced and Presented by Sandglass Theater, the 10 day festival of world-class puppetry, has presented companies from over 20 countries around the world.

Between Sand and Stars Puppets on Display

This month, David Walter’s Master Craft Gallery in downtown Brattleboro, VT, has invited several local puppet companies to contribute puppets to its front window display. Sandglass Theater, Spybird Theater, Company of Strangers, and Crabgrass Puppet Theatre have all contributed pieces from their repertoires.

The 2014 Winter Sunshine Series

The 2014 Winter Sunshine Series is a collaborative presentation between Crabgrass Puppet Theater and Sandglass Theater.  The series’ mission is to present world class puppetry for family audiences in and around Southern Vermont.  This coming winter marks our seventh season with this fast growing family favorite.
